Dear Debaters,

hihi, thought it'd be interesting to blog, so yup! haha... first and foremost, good job to both teams for your opening matches, I'm really proud of you guys. Keep your spirits going, and be prepared to work hard for the coming week as your second round is coming next Friday. The motion will be released tommrrow, so I'll be handing out instructions from there on.

Secondly, we will be using roughly the same prep format as the previous round. When you guys see the motion on Friday, you guys will discuss the case and have the weekend to write up you cases and do your research. Email that to me by Sunday evening, such that on Monday I can give you guys constructive comments. following which, you guys and work on your speeches again and submit it to me by Tuesday, such that we can do a final cut on Wednesday and from there on would be practice and more practice, on top of me teaching you guys some stuff.

That's all I have for you guys now, though I STRONGLY RECOMMEND A MOVIE called "The Great Debaters" it's an inspirational movie, so when there's the time I'll screen it to you guys or something...
