1st feb 2010 Monday to 4th feb 2010 thursday
we got news of our debate competition's motion.
the speakers for the debate competition was revealed.
there are two team. Team A, which is the official team.
and there is also Team B.
Team A include Leon, shermaine, rebecca, karize and me!
Team B include Hui qi, xenia, linh and giap.
everyone prepared themselves for the competition.

5th feb 2010 friday
the day had finally came!
i guessed that most of us were nervous right?
i went back to my class after my geography test.
on the way to my classroom, i saw shermaine.
i went to take my bag first, then i went to her classroom with her.
i saw that the blazers were already collected and placed in her classroom.
we practised our speeches, while rebecca, leon, giap, gabriella, linh and xenia came.
leon and i went to collect our dinner from the canteen.
finally, our debate trainer came too, but he went to ???? first.
we went to IT special room 3 first and waited outside as the room was locked!
waited til edward came, and at last,a teacher came with the key to help us unlock the room!
went in and practised.
while some relax~
edward helped us in improving our speeches and answering our questions.
and he also helped us to tie our ties. lol. thank you. (:
yeah, i agree with you guys must learn how to tie ties. you heard that, didnt you leon?
lol. okay... let me skip a few personal things.
leon, shermaine and i debated against edward, as a practised.
at 5.45pm, we ate our dinner.
the noodles was spicy~ :S
went to board the bus with mr brady at 6pm, while edward went for his mass dance, but he promised that he would come back to zhss after that.
during the bus journey, most of the speakers practised our speech.
edward called us to told team A speakers some pointers, which were really good.
reached Bedok South Seconday School.
i must say that the school is really big, much bigger than our school.
we were against Monfort secondary school.
i started getting my team and i ready for it.
i went to say my speech.
i was very nervous before the competition, but during the actual thing, it was actually much better.. it wasnt that scary as i thought.
congratulations to shermaine for getting the best speaker. (:
we went to find mr brady who was with our team B. we acted sad. haha!
we thought that mr brady knew that we didnt lose, cause we thought that ms k told him.
but in the end, we found out that he did not know that we had actually won.
haha. we told him that, when we reached ZHSS.
when we reached ZHSS, it was already 10.30pm plus.
edward was there waiting for us.
then we told him about the debate.
some of us went home.
while, ed, shermaine, rebecca, xenia, gabriella and i went to 7-11.
we bought things to eat/ drink.
xenia left first.
then ed told us that when he knew that we won, he told his friend, "My baby has finally learn how to walk!"
O.o then someone said that it make edward sounds old. haha!
okay, as it was getting pretty late already, we went home.
good job everybody!
see you next monday!
we are going to have training next monday too.
we will be watching the videos of those who spoke in the debate competition, and reflect on it.

remember, though we have won a battle, but we have not won the war.
also, regarding to what edward had said, baby will learn how to walk, but baby will fall down sometimes too. though the baby may cry, but the baby will soon learn how to stop crying and try to stand up and walk again.
